Cooking oil
Olive oil repairs damaged hair and adds sheen to it. Sunflower oil is loaded with Vitamin E which builds healthy skin and hair tissue.

WEAK MEMORY

Soak 8-12 almonds in a glass of water overnight. Next morning peel of almonds, crush them and boil with a glass of milk. Add 1 teaspoon of Desi Ghee (unsalted cottage butter) and honey. Drink when it is lukewarm. Do this for 15 to 40 days. It helps in improving memory and also brings vitality to the body.
NOTE: This home remedy is extremely beneficial for students and those engaged in mental work. Take this empty stomach in the morning and do not eat anything for the next two hours.

Eye Disorders
The Amla, taken with honey, is useful in preserving eye sight. It will also be beneficial in the treatment of conjunctivitis and glaucoma. It reduces intraocular tension in effective manner. Generally, two capsules twice a day with 1/2 cup of Amla juice can be taken mixed with honey twice daily works in most of the cases.
Respiratory Disorders
This medicinal tonic is highly beneficial in the treatment of respiratory disorders. It is especially valuable in seasonal cough and cold. Amla is also useful in recurrent respiratory infections such as tonsilitis, sinusitis and sore throat.

Heart Disease
Amla (Indian gooseberry) is considered as very effective remedy for heart diseases. It tones up the heart muscles and make them strong. The heart then pumps the blood flawless throughout the body. Amla is also known to build the health by destroying the heterogeneous elements and regenerating the body energy.

To store milk without fridge add a pinch of Soda (Sodabicarb).

BURNS BY FIRE

To put out the fire, roll the victim on the ground and wrap him in rugs, blanket or coat.
Immediately apply glycerine on the burnt area. Burn a handful of mango leaves to ashes and apply it on the affected parts.

BURNS BY ELECTICITY
Avoid contamination of the wound. Wrap the patient in clean and washed cloth sheet. Apply ice cubes or cloth dipped in icy water and keep changing them to avoid contamination and thereafter infection.

INSECT BITE
Apply kerosene oil on the bitten area then cover the area with a paste made from mustard oil and neem leaves.

EYES – DARK PATCHES
Make a paste from 2 slice of cucumber and pinch of turmeric powder, apply on the spots for two hours.
Make a paste from 2 spoons of tomato juice, 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice, a spoon of sandalwood powder and a 1/2 spoon of turmeric powder . Apply on spots for two hours.
Drink tomato juice with a few mint leaves, little lemon juice & salt
Freeze grated cucumber & massage the grated cucumber ice cubes on the eyes.

ACIDITY
Chew 8-10 pudina leaves (fresh mint leaves) early in the morning on an empty stomach for one month.
Having raw onions along with your meals will also keep acidity at bay.
Drink a glass of lemon juice before each meal, it will help relieve acidity.
Avoid too much tea, coffee, fried and fermented food as they stimulate acid production.
Take a glass of water, add a pinch of baking soda and drink it at one go. It gives immediate relief.
Take a glass of warm water, add a pinch of hing (asafoetida) and have it every morning.
Drink coconut water 3-4 times in a day.
Eat a serving of cucumber or watermelon 4-5 times in a day.
Chew 7-8 tulsi (basil) leaves to get relief from acidity and gas.
A glass of kokum sherbet with little jeera (cumin seeds) added to it helps relieve acidity.

HAIR FALLING
Apply olive oil at bedtime and wash off the hair the next morning. This method is very useful.
Indian gooseberry (Amla) oil, prepared by boiling dry pieces of Indian gooseberry (Amla) in coconut oil, is an excellent hair tonic.
Boil Henna leaves in mustard oil till they are burnt. Filter the oil. A regular massage of this oil is helpful.
